Do I need to be there?
No. We can meet on site and decide together what matters most, or once access is arranged I can work on my own.
What if the weather is bad?
To be honest, it has never happened. We usually settle on a date and time the week before, and the weather is part of that check.
What if the site isn’t ready when we arrive?
It happens. Sometimes we can be clever about it: photograph the furniture in one spot, move the same pieces somewhere else in the space, and combine the photographs. On one office shoot there was a single monitor, so we mounted it in one cubicle after another and composited the results. Other times the shoot has to be split across more than one day, which often ends up costing a little more.
How soon do we get the photographs?
Typically within a few days. If you need them sooner, rushed delivery is quoted case by case. They are delivered in a gallery you can browse, along with a direct download link. See what a shoot involves for the whole process.
How long does the “download all” email take?
Usually less than five minutes. Look out for an email from [email protected], that may have been marked as junk.
Who else can use the photos?
The business that licenses a shoot can use the photographs in its own marketing: its website and project pages, portfolio, award submissions, social media, and print. The license is not transferable. When several businesses on a project want the same photographs, each one licenses them, and every business that joins lowers the price for all of them. A business that was not part of the original license can license individual photographs at $300 each. See licensing and usage and pricing.
How come billing is Hayden Quinn LLC and not Dan Price Photography?
All the creative business that my wife and I do is under the Hayden Quinn LLC business, including my photography.
